What is the diorama?
The word diorama can either refer to a 19th-century mobile theatre device, or, in modern usage, a three-dimensional full-size or miniature model, sometimes enclosed in a glass showcase for a museum.

Who is the artist of the images above?
Name is Daniel Singleton, from Manchester in the UK, and build dioramas (little scale model scenes) and paint scale models. he only started doing this recently. Last year during the Covid 19 pandemic he found himself out of work and forced to stay at home as he country went into lockdown. To pass the time he started watching model-making tutorials on Youtube and discovered a love for building dioramas as well as a little aptitude. He prefers making outdoor scenes and landscapes, as well as old buildings and ruins (he loves the aesthetic abandoned places that are being overgrown and reclaimed by nature). His models are made from a wide range of materials but he likes to recycle household waste where possible when making his dioramas.
